Carter Trey Smith began acting at the age of 9. He can be seen in several short films, music videos and national commercials. In 2011, he landed a role in the feature film, Slacker 2011. Carter was accepted into the McCallum High School Fine Arts Academy Cinematic Arts Program where he has been writing, directing, editing and working with other students to make short films, videos and experimental films. Living in Austin, Texas, Carter is fortunate to be surrounded with training tools to help him live out his dream of filmmaking. Austin Film Society, Austin School of Film, Britelites Studios along with the extensive film equipment at McCallum, Carter has been working in the industry for over 10 years. Carter is graduating from McCallum High School in 2019 and will be looking for a film school to attend.
